Improving Services for People with Neurodegenerative Disease
I led a partnership of Community Organisations (Parkinsons NSW, MS Australia) and NSW Health clinicians to identify the issues and problems that impact on their consumers’ health and well-being. Together we prioritised 8 key problems and developed achievable solutions that could make a real difference.
Better Health Services for People with Intellectual Disability
Tools and initiativesto improve services for people with an Intellectual Disabilitywere not beingimplemented inatargeted or strategic manner. The NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation’s IntellectualDisability Network had identified and documented dozens of strategies that could improve the delivery andoutcomes of health services for people with an Intellectual Disability. I worked with Network’s executiveteam to develop an overarching Framework and interactive online Assessment that leads you to the rightsolutions in an online Tool Kit of strategies andresources.
